Telco Republic released its annual Forecast and Market Share reports for communication service provider (CSP) spending on Next-Generation Operations and Business Support Systems (NG-TOBS) covering two solution components, three deployment models, five solution domains and six geographies.

This collection of 17 individual reports provides in-depth statistical analysis accompanied by detailed qualitative analysis.

The forecast reports show that CSPs continue to move their OSS and BSS solutions to the public and private cloud at a rapid pace. 

• Global public cloud spending is forecast to grow at a double-digit compound annual growth rate (CAGR) from 2022-2029, while private cloud spending will grow at a high single-digit CAGR.
• Over the forecast period, spending on on-premises deployments will decline at a double-digit CAGR.

The market share reports show that the global vendor landscape for NG-TOBS software and services remains diversified. 

• No NG-TOBS vendor had more than 9% market share in 2023.
• Eight NG-TOBS vendors had more than 15% market share in one of the 17 subcategories covered in this report.
• Worldwide, Netcracker had the highest market share across all categories, followed by Amdocs, Huawei, IBM and Ericsson.
